Andrew Biswell is the author of a prize-winning biography, The Real Life of Anthony Burgess (Picador, 2005), and editor of A Clockwork Orange: The Restored Edition (Penguin Classics, 2013). His most recent book is a new edition of A Vision of Battlements, Anthony Burgess's first novel, set on Gibraltar during the Second World War. He is a general editor of the Irwell Edition of the Works of Anthony Burgess, published by Manchester University Press.
