Andrew Cushing

Dr. Andrew Cushing graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2007, before starting work in mixed practice. He completed a safari park internship in Oregon and zoo medicine residency at Cornell, interspersed with employment in an exotic clinic, wildlife hospital, and a UK safari park. He became board certified with the ACZM in 2015, and is currently employed on the zoo faculty at UTCVM. Current research interests/projects include West Nile virus in penguins and large cat anesthesia and cardiac assessment.
