Honorary Associate Professor, University of Nottingham

Dr Andrew Grainger is an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham. He is also a Director at Trade Facilitation Consulting Ltd where he lends advice to government agencies and businesses in the UK and abroad. He maintains close relationships with Universities and research organisations, which have included appointments at TU Delft and the University of Nottingham. In previous roles Andrew worked as Deputy Director at SITPRO, the former UK trade facilitation agency. There he also served as the Secretary for EUROPRO, the umbrella body of European trade facilitation bodies, and was also a member of the European Commission's DG TAXUD Trade Contact Group. Other past experiences include freight forwarding and logistics in Germany, Malaysia and Singapore, as well as Worldtrade consulting with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London. On a number of occasions Andrew also worked as staff consultant with the World Bank Group.
