Senior lecturer, University of Johannesburg

Andrew Green obtained a doctor of philosophy (PhD) in physiology, biomechanics and sports performance from the University of the Witwatersrand, where he began his academic career studying physiology. He is now a senior lecture in the Department of Sport and Movement Studies at the University of Johannesburg. His speciality is the technical assessment of individual performance in rugby union players. He is a keen golfer, runner, cyclist and cook.
