An economist by background, I am currently Reader in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Sheffield Business School, Sheffield Hallam University. My research interests focus on the economics of small and medium sized firms (SMEs), particularly their innovation and internationalisation activities. I am also interested in regional economic development and how the performance of SMEs and economies varies according to location.
