Andrew R. Hanson is a senior research analyst at the Center on Education and the Workforce, a leading national education think tank housed at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
Hanson is a national expert on the intersection between post-secondary education and the labor market. His research focuses on workforce development, millennials' experience in the job market, work-based learning, and the economic value of credentials including college degrees and certificates as well as occupational licenses and certifications.
Hanson's most recent paper is “From to College to Career: Making Sense of the Post-Millennial Job Market.”
Hanson is a first-generation college graduate and a Teach For America and Americorps alumnus. He received his B.A. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
