Andrew Smirnov completed a PhD in Public Health at the University of Queensland. He currently teaches in public health at UQ. His research interests include drug harm reduction, viral hepatitis, Indigenous public health, substance use over the life course, the health and wellbeing of people who are imprisoned, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
