Lecturer in Astronomy, University of South Africa

Andri Prozesky is a lecturer in the department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of South Africa. She teaches astronomy and applied mathematics courses and was awarded the 2014 Unisa Excellence in Tuition Award. She is currently pursuing her PhD specializing in the atomic physics that occur within photoionized nebulae. She is also involved in the Unisa Astronomy Outreach Programme that aims to create science awareness in communities and to inspire school learners to get interested in science and ultimately to pursue careers in science and technology.
