PhD Researcher in Fisheries Management, University of Portsmouth

I am a PhD researcher in the Department of Geography, University of Portsmouth. I hold a BSc Open from the Open University, comprised of natural sciences and business management modules, and an MSc in Coastal and Marine Resource Management from the University of Portsmouth.

I am interested in the environmental and socio-economic sustainability of capture fisheries in the UK. My research to date is focussed on the experiences of stakeholders within north-east Scotland’s fishing communities and the impact that Brexit will have on their industry.
