I'm a landscape ecologist and teach ecology and sustainability at the University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba, Queensland. I have researched and published in the areas of plant-environment relationships, faunal habitat preferences, biodiversity and ecosystem services in agricultural landscapes, and plant-fungal relationships. My current areas of research activity includes investigating land use and environmental drivers of grassland composition and the dynamics of remnant/regrowth vegetation in agricultural landscapes.
Originally from Sydney, I obtained my undergraduate degree in Environmental Biology and my PhD in Plant Ecology from the University of Technology, Sydney. I am a member of the Ecological Society of Australia and Society for Conservation Biology.
