Anna Augusto Rodrigues has a PhD in Education – Language, Culture and Teaching, from York University, and a Master of Education from Ontario Tech University. As an interdisciplinary educator and researcher, her scholarly interests focus on art education, alternative literacies, feminist research and inclusive educational practices. In 2019, her dissertation was the co-recipient of the Mary McEwan Memorial Award for feminist scholarship. Rodrigues has been involved in various educational projects in the past ten years, including Indigenization of curriculum, researching barriers to pathway completion between colleges and universities, and co-teaching an international field course on social justice in Brazil. Rodrigues is currently a contract instructor in the Child and Youth Studies program at Trent University.
