Anna Lavis is an anthropologist whose research focuses on lived experiences of mental ill-health and distress. She has led qualitative studies into individuals' experiences of eating disorders, psychosis, and self-harm and is passionate about listening to narratives that may not always be heard within clinically-applied research.
