Anna Meredith graduated from Oxford University in 1986 and in veterinary medicine from Cambridge University in 1991. She joined the Dick Vet in 1992 and single-handedly set up and developed the Exotic Animal and Wildlife Service, from just herself to its current level of seven vets. Anna holds the RCVS Diploma in Zoological Medicine and is an RCVS Recognised Specialist in Zoo and Wildlife Medicine, and is a recipient of the BSAVA Blaine Award for outstanding contributions to the advancement of small animal veterinary medicine or surgery. Anna lectures internationally and has published widely in the field of exotic animal medicine. She has always had a special interest in rabbits and has been a major contributor to the development of rabbit medicine in the UK, but has expertise in all areas of exotic and wildlife medicine. Her current research interest is in infectious diseases of UK wildlife.
