I am a professor at York University in Toronto. My scholarship concerns the political ecology and economy of extractive industry, informed in particular by research in Mexico, Canada, Nigeria as well as the International Seabed Authority - the United Nations agency responsible for extraction from the seafloor beyond national jurisdiction.
