Marie Curie Research Fellow, Bournemouth University

I am a Marie Curie Research Fellow at Bournemouth University. My research interests include media literacy education, media history and digital citizenship.
This interest in civic engagement has led me to a project in which we mapped the complex relationship and interplays between ‘legitimate’ and the (de)legitimising aspects of political discourse on social media.
I am an assistant editor of the Media Education Research Journal (MERJ) and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
