Dr Anne Fothergill is a mental health nurse and Principal Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing at the University of South Wales.

She has a wealth of experience in mental health, research and educating mental health nurses. She has been in her current role with the University of South Wales since 2002.

She trained in mental health nursing at Guys and St Thomas’ hospital, in London.

Her research interests are in stress and burnout, and service user involvement in mental health services.
