Anne's background is in secondary school education and the application of educational psychology to educational and health-related research areas. She completed her doctoral studies at the University of Sydney, investigating the social and emotional adjustment of children with chronic health conditions during school and hospital transitions. She now applies her understanding to child and adolescent social, emotional and cognitive development as well as teacher self-efficacy and development. She is also the author of a popular and leading text on the educational psychology of learning and teaching in school settings.
