I am a Professor of Genetics at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. I am especially interested in using genomics to conserve the indigenous livestock of Africa These are very unique because of the unique adaptations that they have developed over time that have allowed them to live in diverse and unique African environments.
