I have a Magister Degree in English Philology, Ancient History and Media Studies from the University of Mannheim, as well as a Master's and PhD in Linguistics from The Ohio State University. I worked in Clinical Linguistics and language acquisition as part of my post-doctoral work at Bielefeld Univeristy. I then held a Lecturer in Psycholinguistics position at Bangor University before starting my Assistant Professor position at the University of Graz. My research focuses on the acquisition of prosody and syntax as well as on prosodic and syntactic processing. I am also interested in bilingualism and signed languages.
