Prof. Tony Williams has interests in: theoretical, computational, and mathematical physics; complex and nonlinear systems; and advanced, high-performance, and grid computing. His research is primarily in the areas of theoretical particle and nuclear physics.
Topics of special interest include:
* Understanding the nonperturbative behaviour of QCD and QED
* Lattice gauge theory
* Testing fundamental symmetries
* Tests of the Standard Model
* Particle phenomenology
* Physics Beyond the Standard Model, including supersymmetry (SUSY) and composite Higgs models
* Dark Matter
