Anton Alexandrovich Toutov

Assistant Professor Chemical and Life Science Engineering, Virginia Commonwealth University

Dr. Toutov is the Founder and Chief Science Officer of Fuzionaire, Inc., a Los Angeles-based science and technology start-up company spun out of the Grubbs lab at Caltech in 2016. Dr. Toutov’s research led to the discovery of Earth-abundant alkali metal catalysts and reagents for a number of organic chemical transformations. This work has led to technologies that are being used across industries, including in diagnostic medicine, drug discovery, and emissions control.
