Anumitra Mirti Chand

Dr. Anumitra Mirti Chand is an advocate for climate change resilience in health and infrastructure. She has over 15years of experience in environment management, climate adaptation, sustainability, and disaster resilience planning. Currently works for Central Coast Council as a project manager (Emergency preparedness and planning). Prior to this, Anumitra coordinated an international initiative with the World Federation for Public Health Association and Climate and Health Alliance to understand global committment on climate change impact on health. She also worked as a researcher for University of New South Wales on a project to investigate health infrastructure capacity to deal with extreme weather events associated with climate change.
