Aqida Nuril Salma is an Indonesian researcher and lecturer at the Department of Digital Public Relations, School of Communication and Business, Telkom University. She has taught courses on philosophy of communication, english for public relations, public opinion, introduction to public relations, and more.
She is currently pursue a Doctor of Philosophy/Doktor der Philosophie (Dr.phil) degree at the joint programme between Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies, Centre for Cultural and Media Policy Studies and Southeast Asian Studies. Her doctoral project broadly concerned with the intersection between technology and social change, in particular it investigates how social science research as well as social life are changing in this digital age. The project is interdisciplinary in nature as it involves a variety of studies such as sociology, media and communication, political science and digital methods. Prior to starting her studies, she was involved in a wide range of different comparative research projects related to regional elections, climate change and society, religious freedom or belief and crisis management.
