Arnagretta Hunter

ANU Human Futures Fellow; Cardiologist and Physician., Australian National University

Arnagretta Hunter is a cardiologist and physician based in Canberra, ACT. She has more than two decades of clinical experience across urban, regional and rural locations in Australia. She is the Human Futures Fellow at the Australian National University, an interdisciplinary role that sees her working in across a number of policy and research areas in academia and beyond, from wellbeing and social policies to the challenges of climate change and other catastrophic risks. She is a clinical senior lecturer in the Rural Clinical School at the Australian National University, and she is the co-host of Policy Forum Pod, a public policy podcast produced by the Crawford School of Public Policy. She is a member of the ANU Institute for Climate, Energy and Disaster Solutions and is a member of the ACT Climate Change Council. Her research interests are in the health impacts of climate change, and she has recently completed a Churchill Fellowship exploring listening in healthcare and the role of narrative medicine.
