Ashok Sekar researches issues at the intersection of behavior, energy and policy, with a focus on addressing sustainability. He has a PhD in Sustainability from Rochester Institute of Technology and Masters in Civil, Environmental and Sustainable Engineering from Arizona State University.

He currently focuses on developing descriptive models for consumer adoption of energy technologies, such as solar power. He is also studying links between technology, time and energy.
