Research Fellow, Politecnico di Torino

Dr Asma MEHAN received her Ph.D. in 'Architecture, History and Project' from Politecnico di Torino (Torino, Italy) in 2017 and Masters of Architectural Studies from the Art University of Isfahan (Isfahan, Iran) in 2013. She worked as visiting research fellow at EPFL (École Polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in Lausanne (Switzerland) and Alfred Deakin Institute (ADI) in Deakin University, Melbourne (Australia). Asma's main research lies in the area of politics of architecture and transnational urbanism with the current research projects being pursued in Iran, Italy, Germany, Malaysia, the United States and the United Arab Emirates. She has more than four years of teaching experience in various universities and academic institutes in Iran for both graduate and undergraduate students in Architectural and Urban Studies.
