PhD student, Ontario Institute of Studies in Education, University of Toronto

I am a PhD student at the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. My key research interests lie at the intersection of gender, race and economy. In my Master's thesis, I explored the violence against Adivasi women in South Asia and the associated processes of rural-urban migration, neoliberal land acquisition policies and dispossession.

In the early stages of my doctoral studies, I am framing my research to investigate the interconnectedness of racial and capitalist structures across the imagined categories of Global North and South.
