Audrey-Ann Deneault

PhD Candidate in Developmental Psychology, L’Université d’Ottawa/University of Ottawa

Audrey-Ann Deneault is a doctoral candidate in Experimental Psychology at the University of Ottawa. Her research focuses on how parenting and child-parent relationships influences children's positive development from infancy to adulthood, particularly within the context of child-father relationships. More specifically, her dissertation centres on the measurement of child-mother and child-father attachment in the preschool years. Guided by a family systems framework, her research seeks to understand child development in a context that includes not only mothers, but also (to name a few) fathers, siblings, and coparenting relationships. Audrey-Ann’s research is currently funded by a Joseph-Armand Bombardier CGS Doctoral Scholarship (SSHRC).
