Benedikt Erforth

Dr. Benedikt Erforth is a Senior Researcher at the German Development Institute. Prior to his current position, he worked as lecturer at SciencesPo Paris.

Benedikt holds a PhD in International Studies from the University of Trento and a MSc in International and European Politics from the University of Edinburgh. He is the author of the book "Contemporary French Security Policy in Africa" and a number of academic articles and opinion pieces.

Benedikt's current work areas include development policy, development finance, digitalization and development, EU-Africa relations, and French security policy in the Sahel.
