Teaching Fellow in Comparative Politics, University of Bath

Benjamin Bowman is researching young people's politics at the University of Bath. His current research project uses participant-led photography to explore young politics in everyday spaces.

Benjamin has a broad academic background in politics, the politics of youth, and politically committed culture. His most recent research projects analysed media depictions of young rioters during the English riots of 2011.

He has additional expertise and research interest in UK politics, Russian politics and culture, and young people's activism.
