Bethan Jones is a Research Fellow at Media Cymru at the University of South Wales and an Honorary Research Fellow at Amgueddfa Cymru Museum Wales. She has published extensively on gender, digital media and popular culture, focusing on audiences and fans. Her book about The X-Files was published in 2023 and she is currently researching the darker side of fandom.
