Brad Turner

Brad worked as a newspaper and magazine journalist and editor for 23 years in Sydney, Canberra, Townsville and Brisbane, reporting on everything from State politics to sport. He was the NSW Rugby League Print Journalist of the Year in 1989. Brad moved into a senior corporate communications role at The University of Queensland in 1998, and in 2008 was seconded to the University's School of Journalism and Communication. He was appointed to the academic staff in 2010 and teaches practice-based undergraduate courses.
