As a Warlpiri man, my skin name is Jangala. My dreaming is Naapa (water). My family have maintained their connection to land and maintenance of their language and culture since the dreaming. My family are traditional owners in the central desert of Australia, and I am a member of this traditional owner family and have entitlements as the grandson of Maudie Napurrula.
Having studied Kardiya/Kartiya Law, and Arts, I have endeavoured to engage with the ontological and epistemological conflicts and issues facing my family and people due to colonial settlerism and in its present form: neo-colonial settlerism.
