Brian Stuart Finlay

PhD Candidate - Work, Employment and Organisation, University of Strathclyde

I have recently started my PhD at Strathclyde Business School within the Work, Employment and Organisation department. I am researching collective and individual resistance techniques within the service sector. I have completed my BA (Hons) in Human Resource Management (HRM) at the University of Stirling and my MSc in HRM at Strathclyde Business School.

I am also a member and activist for the Scottish Green Party and a freelance writer for The Canary. I blog and write about Scottish politics, with a slant towards the pro-independence movement, and employment policy - particularly around precarious work.
