Bridgette Bewick

Associate Professor in Psychological Health, Wellbeing, and Education, University of Leeds

Bridgette Associate Professor and Chartered Psychologist. Her portfolio of research focusses around monitoring, managing, and modifying student mental health and wellbeing; She is Lead for the suite of Postgraduate Programmes in Health Research. Bridgette is a Fellow of the Leeds Institute for Teaching Excellence, Her LITE Fellowship investigates how best to embody Pedagogical Wellbeing into the university curriculum. Bridgette leads the University’s Pedagogical Wellbeing Network and seeded the ‘I belong Compassionate Curriculum Conversations’. Bridgette is academic lead for ‘I belong Creative Connections’ – a University initiative that seeks to support student’s sense of belonging through shared experiences of arts and culture.
