Brittney Goodrich

Assistant Professor and Extension Economist, Auburn University

I am an Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist in Agricultural Risk Management in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology at Auburn University. I grew up in a rural farming community in Iowa where uncertainty in agricultural production and marketing influenced family and friends on a daily basis. Consequently, I have always been intrigued by the choices farmers make to address uncertainty in their operations, and am particularly interested in researching how individuals within the agricultural supply chain use contracts to manage risk and align incentives.
