Bronwyn McCredie

Lecturer, QUT Business School, Queensland University of Technology

Bronwyn McCredie is a lecturer in the School of Accountancy at the QUT Business School, Queensland University of Technology. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce with first class honours in Finance and the University medal (BCom Hons Class 1) from the University of Newcastle, a PhD in Finance from the University of Newcastle and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice from Queensland University of Technology. She is also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA). Dr McCredie primarily researches in financial law, taxation and regulation. Her current research focuses on the efficacy of the OECD BEPS program and resultant tax transparency legislation; director trading legislation; and the differential impact of corporate information disclosures from traditional sources and contemporary social media channels. Dr McCredie currently supervises three PhD students and has successfully supervised Honours and DBA students.
