Bruce Prideaux

Bruce Prideaux is Professor of Tourism at the Cairns Campus of CQUniversity where he heads the Centre for Tourism and Regional Opportunities and coordinates the Master of Sustainable Tourism Management program . Bruce specialises in tourism in natural areas and has recently published a book that explores a range of topics associated with tourism in rainforest destinations. His next book will look at tourism in coral reef regions. Other areas of interest include tourism in agricultural areas, military heritage, transport and the impact of climate change on tourism.
