Carissa Lee Godwin

Research associate, University of Melbourne

Primarily an actor, Carissa graduated from Flinders University Drama Centre with Honours, then went on to work as both an actor and within the Indigenous visual arts sector for five years. During this time she also completed the Black and White! Indigenous Writing and Editing program, then went on to work as the ATSI Program Coordinator for the South Australian Writers Centre in Adelaide. Carissa is now based in Melbourne as an actor and academic, currently completing her Masters Degree at University of Melbourne, where she works as a research associate, as well as working as a freelance writer for Book Riot.
