Carl Grodach is an interdisciplinary community and economic development scholar focussed on arts and culture. He is co-editor of The Politics of Urban Cultural Policy: Global Perspectives (Routledge, 2013) and co-author of Urban Revitalization: Remaking Cities in a Changing World (Routledge, 2016). His research has been funded by the Australian Research Council, National Endowment for the Arts, New York Community Trust, and the Government of Canada. Current projects include “Urban cultural policy and the changing dynamics of cultural production” (ARC Discovery Grant DP170104255) with Prof Chris Gibson, Prof Justin O’Connor, Dr Xin Gu and Dr Andrew Warren and “Our Town Program Evaluation” for the National Endowment for the Arts (US).
