Carmen Monico

Dr. Mónico is an Assistant Professor at Elon University's Human Service Studies (HSS) developing international opportunities for students in the department and across campus. She has taught the following courses: Arts & Science of Human Services, Working with Groups and Communities, Practicum Away (to Guatemala), International Human Services, Global Violence Against Women, Human Trafficking, and Global Awareness (COR110), with an emphasis on Global Civil Society and Youth Engagement. She is preparing a COR capstone on Global Governance and Social Well-being, and HSS courses on human trafficking and working with special populations.
