Senior Lecturer in Law, University of Portsmouth

I joined the University of Portsmouth in December 2014 after spending 18 years practising as a Solicitor.

My research considers the sale of ivory in the UK and in 2015 I launched the Ivory Project at the House of Commons. The Project investigates the UK's antiques trade's dealing in ivory focusing on the so called "worked" or "antique" derogation set out by Article 8 of the Control of Trade in Endangered Species (Enforcement) Regulations 1997.
