Cat is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Institute for Climate and Atmospheric Science, part of the School of Environment at the University of Leeds. She uses computer models of the atmosphere to evaluate interactions between natural and anthropogenic processes.
Cat co-ordinates the Leeds Ecosystem, Atmosphere and Forest (LEAF; leaf.leeds.ac.uk) research network at the University of Leeds. LEAF aims to bring together anyone working on forest/vegetation related research across the University, and make this research more accessible its end-users.
