Catherine Stinton

Cath Stinton is a PhD student at the University of York, UK, researching the far-right radicalisation of women and the role of gender in violent extremism. In particular, she examines both online and offline spaces to assess societal pressures and the work of organised groups providing meso-level influences upon women moving towards the extreme and populist right in Britain. More broadly she is interested in UK policing and accountability, and digital qualitative research methodologies.
