Cathrine Seierstad

Lecturer in International Human Resource Management (IHRM), Queen Mary University of London

I hold a PhD in Business and Management and a MA in International Management from Queen Mary (QM), University of London, a MA in International Relations from University of Warwick, and a Cand Mag in Politics from University of Oslo, Norway.

Prior to joining QM as a lecturer in IHRM in 2015, I was a Lecturer in HRM at Brunel University and a Lecturer in IHRM at University of Sussex. I also hold a visiting research position at the University of Witten Herdecke, Germany.

My publications and research fall largely within the fields of leadership, diversity management, women on boards, equality, diversity and inclusion at work, CSR and corporate governance. My current research examines the wider effects of using gender quotas on corporate boards in a variety of countries
