Cherie Heilbronn

Research Fellow, Population Health at Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Centre and Ajunct Lecturer, Monash University

Cherie Heilbronn is a research fellow in the Population Health team at Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Centre and is an adjunct lecturer at Monash University. Previously, she has worked across clinical and epidemiology settings in South Australia and New South Wales.

With a background in medical practice, Cherie has been undertaking research in the area of substance use and mental health epidemiology since 2011. In particular, her research has focused on the epidemiology of substance use and health inequality, prescription drug misuse and self-harm.
