Community Development Officer (Skateboard GB) and Visiting Research Fellow, Nottingham Trent University

Currently in the economics department of Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, where I teach applied economics, design and deliver multidisciplinary student-led research projects, and deliver consultancy projects for public, private and third sector clients, primarily related to labour market and demographic issues. I am an associate of the Nottingham Civic Exchange and a contributor to the ongoing 'Good Work Nottingham' research programme, focusing on how to improve the quality of work and reducing economic insecurity.

Previously, I studied Modern History, specialising in post-war Japan, at the University of Nottingham, before spending nine years working in a UK public policy environment, undertaking research to inform employment, education, training and regeneration policy.
