I joined Cardiff Metropolitan University after a career in Banking and Financial Services that covered personal and corporate finance and (a little) "time in the city". Since then I have developed and lead modules at all levels up to, and including Masters and current deliver at level 5, 6 and 7.
Most of my time is spent teaching and "programme directing" the MSc Financial Management degree but I am also active as a Link Tutor to partners in Lebanon, Greece and Singapore and recent lead a 10 day student visit to Renmin University in Beijing, China as part of our Outwards Mobility Scheme.
My interests are wide ranging – I regularly comment of retail and general economic affairs for local BBC and independent TV and Radio and occasional write and blog. At a "higher academic level" my interests lie in general investment theory and I am beginning to look at the viability of Corporate Debt replacing Sovereign Debt in portfolio construction.
