Chris Reed is Professor of Computer Science & Philosophy and director of the Centre for Argument Technology at the University of Dundee. He has worked with argument and debate for over 20 years trying, to explain how humans argue, how they express disagreement, and how they reach consensus -- and build AI systems that model and at times emulate these most human of tasks.
