Christian Moro

Dr Christian Moro BSc, BEd, MBus, PhD, SFHEA is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Bond University. His research includes investigating the physiology associated with diseases of the urinary bladder, in the fields of physiology, pharmacology, immunology and anatomy. Christian’s lab-based scientific research also aims to isolate and identify alternative pharmacological targets for future treatments, and his laboratory research has been funded by various government, community and industry bodies. Christian also undertakes research into medical and science education and communication, and has developed a range of novel technological tools that enhance student learning, participation and interaction. Christian is an award-winning medical and biomedical educator, and a former secondary school teacher with educational experience nationally and internationally. Dr Moro runs the science communication YouTube channel “Physiology with Dr Christian”, as well as the Instagram site: “Physiology with Christian”. From his teaching, Christian sits as one of Australia's most awarded tertiary educators.
